Sparkling View : Trading Terms and Conditions

Cancellations

We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for cancellation of a booked cleaning visit with a price of less than £40. The notice requirement for cancellation of a job costing more than £40 is 48 hours.
For cancellation or re-scheduling a visit on the day it has been booked there is a minimum charge of £12, or 50 per cent of the price quoted for a more expensive job.

Postponement

This is allowed up to and including the time we telephone or send a text message prior to each visit to confirm the booking. After this, cancellation charges apply.

Payment terms

Full payment is required within seven days from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed with domestic customers.
Commercial customers’ payments terms are strictly 28 days from date of invoice.

Late payments

Each late payment will result in £3 surcharge to cover admin and/or collection costs.
Commercial customers will be charged additionally BoE rate plus eight percent interest on any outstanding debt after 28 days.

Payment methods

In addition to cash payments upon special arrangement, we offer customers a number of ways to settle invoices:-
■ Online banking.
■ Direct debit.
■ Online card processing facility ( transaction fees apply- minimum 30 pence).
■ Credit or debit cards accepted at customers’ premises ( transaction fees apply – minimum 30 pence).
■ Cheques (subject to reasonable 50 pence surcharge due to high banking  and admin costs)
Transaction charges are waived only for OAP customers.

Liability limitations

Sparkling View will not be liable for any losses resulting from the following circumstances:-
■ Inclement weather conditions.
■ Staff shortage: we reserve the right to postpone an appointment until a mutually convenient date.
■ Traffic conditions: if members of our staff are running late due to travel problems, you will be notified by text message or telephone call.

Continued use of our services will be treated as acceptance of our trading terms.
